We have been working with Vanessa and Main Event for many years holding three wedding shows a year at our venue and also advertising in Absolute Bridal.

We find the shows an excellent way to bring new business to our site, they are well advertised and require very little organisation and stress on our part.

The event is always very well organised, we have a meeting a few weeks prior to discuss the details and the suppliers that will be exhibiting. There is always a very good variety of different suppliers which means the show is interesting for potential couples. We are sent the artwork and banners to advertise the event via our databases and on-site.
The day of the event is pleasurable to work as the Main Event team choreograph everything so that we can focus on our own stand and chatting with all of the couples that visit.

We often find that the shows generate viewings and bookings but in general helps put us on the map for couples that didn’t necessarily know about us.

We have been advertising in Absolute Bridal for some time also as find that it is great value for money given the quality of the publication and the widespread distribution, everyone is very helpful too in assisting us with our advert.

Channels Estate Wedding venue has been using Main Event Wedding Shows for almost two decades to host our wedding shows. A couple of years ago I decided to give Main Event a try. I am so glad I did. I have done many different shows with them and they are always well organised and more importantly, really well marketed to ensure that they have a good amount of couples in attendance. I now do around 10 a year with Main Event and have never done one that I haven't got bookings from. We decided to go big with the Chelmsford City Racecourse show and with a ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ attitude but we’ve been so impressed by the response. Deciding to attend a wedding show is a big gamble, deciding to take part in a weekend long wedding show even more so. The lovely team at Main Weddings and Events answered all of my questions, stopped me worrying and supported me all through the process.

Arriving on the Friday to set up was quite overwhelming, this place is huge. Will it be worth the hours of preparation? Will anyone even want my details? Well the team were right, I shouldn’t have worried, I had a constant flow of couples requiring childcare for their big day. I received 3 bookings on the day itself and spent both evenings sending off price lists and quotes.

The event was run perfectly, with a wide range of suppliers including a stunning wedding dress show.

If you’re in two minds about attending, don’t be, it’s definitely worth it. I will be returning for sure.

I have been attending wedding fairs organised by Main Event Wedding Shows as a supplier (wedding photographer) for several years now and they are hands down the best shows I've been part of! Vanessa, Donna and the rest of team are amazing and always ready to help and answer any questions both in the lead up to the event and on the actual day itself. The fairs are super busy, which is fantastic and shows how hard the team work to advertise the weddings shows to the couples. You get a really good mix of couples who have already booked their venues and those just starting to plan, so it works out great for all kinds of suppliers. The whole team are really friendly and open to feedback and are always looking for ways to make the shows even better for everyone. I have done a few shows with another company but they just don't compare to the ones run by Main Event Wedding Shows. They plan wedding shows at individual wedding venues which is a great way to network with other local suppliers as well as meeting the team for that specific venue. Then there is the Chelmsford City Racecourse wedding show which brings together suppliers across the industry including staff from a variety of different venues. This show is absolutely fantastic; there is so much
going on to draw couples to the show and there is always a constant flow of people to talk to. It's definitely one of my favourite shows to attend. Honestly, these wedding fairs are fantastic, and I can
confidently say that 90% (if not more) of my wedding bookings have come from attending these shows. My calendar would be so much emptier without them. Huge thanks to the team for making these events so awesome!
