At the heart of Greenwoods is our beautiful original manor house, offering a unique backdrop for your wedding day, alongside elegant modern spaces designed to bring your celebration to life. From intimate ceremonies in our Library Suite to larger wedding receptions in our Graden Suite, our flexible spaces can be tailored to suit your style, with our experienced wedding team on hand throughout the planning journey.
Exchange vows in our elegant ceremony spaces before celebrating with your closest friends and family in one of our beautifully appointed suites. Or, say the all-important ‘I Do’s’ outside in our elegantly landscaped gardens. Including our Secret Sunken Garden nestled within the original landscaping of the manor house, provides a wonderfully secluded setting for outdoor ceremonies and receptions for up to 60 guests.

With 40 individually styled bedrooms, guests can stay and enjoy the atmosphere of the hotel, while our spa and leisure facilities provide the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. We had stayed at Greenwoods before and had the most amazing time so we knew as soon as we got engaged this had to be the place where we got married. At the open day we immediately envisioned our day and had everything we wanted all in one place. Their recommended suppliers are all first class and a reflection of the quality and service expected when booking a wedding here. (I’ve listed who we used at the end of this review).
From the very moment we stayed at the hotel, every single staff member has been beyond amazing. The bar staff, cleaners, cooks, receptionists, gardeners and events team are all incredible at their jobs. Whether we were visiting for afternoon tea or planning our special day, we always received 5 star service. Our food tasting was delicious and we honestly thought it wouldn’t be the same catering for 100 guests but my god it was! We had so many compliments about the food and everything we and our guests had on the day was beautifully presented, delicious and hot! We are big foodies so it was very important for us and our guests to enjoy the food as much as us and the chefs really didn’t disappoint, even on such a hot day it was amazing!
Every single person working at Greenwoods are so friendly, attentive and really create the most wonderful atmosphere. So polite, thoughtful and just the best hospitality, it’s really what makes Greenwood’s so special. Without all your hard work and care it wouldn’t be half as good.
The hotel is spectacular and had the perfect mixture of traditional and modern, so many great places to have photos. The bridal suite (room 8) was stunning! So bright and airy, perfect for getting ready and photos. We had the pleasure of spending two nights here, the night of the wedding and the next day where we got to really unwind and relax in the spa.
Last but not least a massive thank you to our wedding planner Sasha! You and your team work miracles and made our dreams come true! Nothing was too much and you completely exceeded our expectations. You took all the stress out of organising our day and gave the best advice. You went above and beyond to make sure our day went as smoothly as it could which it definitely did!
We are still on a high from the wedding day and cannot believe how perfect it was, it really feels like a dream. We cannot wait to see all our photos and videos, will share them as soon as we can!

We held our small wedding here last week in the library suite and it was absolutely perfect. Sasha and the events team went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly - I didn’t have to do a thing on the day! They were so accommodating during the whole process, nothing was too much trouble - they even helped source a specific wine we wanted for the tables. Despite being a small wedding they still made us feel special, which was not the case at other venues we viewed who put all sorts of restrictions on. The food was amazing with really generous portions, even our fussiest of guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. Thanks again !!

My husband and I got married at Greenwood's in July. And all we can say, is just how fantastic the venue and staff have been. We had a long engagement and planned for over 2 years. From day one the lovely event co-ordinators held our hands through each stage and made us feel safe and secure in every step. Sasha, you really are a star. You were there with every question we had and helped us make choices which led to the most amazing wedding day. You were all so accommodating of our somewhat strange requests, but the wedding day was absolute magic! Thank you thank you thank you. We are so grateful to the whole of Greenwoods. The Food is incredible!
