• Sam & John: We had our wedding at the Ivy Hill Hotel in September 2022. From the initial viewing and meeting with Libby (Hotel Manager), there was no doubt we wanted to have our special day there. Libby was attentive and listened to our requirements, and felt assured everything would be in capable hands. In the year and half leading up to our wedding, we had various meetings with Libby, which never faltered. Every detail/change was noted and documented. The food and wine sampling for our wedding breakfast which was immaculately presented and tasted wonderful. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food on the day. The service we received from Libby and the team was super, they made our day magical, and making last minute issues that we didn’t account for, were quickly resolved by Libby and the team to make it flawless. By the end of the evening, the team were up dancing with us and our guests, we got the perfect day we wanted, very personal. Thank you Libby and the team – a day we, and our guests, will remember.
• Polly & Warren - I cannot praise this hotel highly enough! We stayed in the bridal suite, which is beautiful, and our wedding day was absolutely perfect! The staff are unbelievable, and simply could not do enough. Libby and her team made the whole thing run smoothly and stress free, and the whole day exceeded any dream we had of our big day. • Richard & Richard - We arrived at the Ivy-Hill Hotel and we’re immediately greeted by smiley and welcoming Lauren who began taking our details for checking in. The warm, friendly and massively accommodating Libby (the Hotel’s Manager) was around the corner and came out to welcome us and wish us well for our upcoming weekend. Straight away we were at ease. The staff from here onwards were just perfection. Caring, approachable, efficient and attentive. Nothing was too much and every request was dealt with with no bother. We had a meal for 11 in the glorious BARTELLAS Restaurant that evening. The wonderful host, LORNA couldn do enough for us. But by no means was she intrusive or encroaching on our meal. She was accommodating, fun and full of life and I can 100% say that she made our evening! Of course the food was scrumptious, but without Lorna’s treatment, it wouldn’t have been the evening we had! The morning of our big day we chose to have a few drinks outside in the glorious sunshine, and again, Libby was there to add another finishing touch in the was of a few complimentary nibbles. The wedding was just perfect and we had over 30 of our friends and family who were also staying at the Ivy-Hill and the night porter kept us going serving us in the bar until we’ll after the time we expected to bar would close!! The breakfasts were out of this world! I couldn’t fault a thing. And they also had oat milk for our coffee (which isn’t always the case at many hotels!) The room was stunning! Decadent in its decor and romantic, we absolutely loved it! It was the PERFECT stay for our Wedding Weekend! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for making our ‘Once in a Lifetime’ Weekend above and beyond what we hoped and wished for! Many thanks and much love to you all! Don’t worry, we WILL be back!!
